Who we are...
The Bristol Strut currently has 53 members on board, including some 37 pilots / owners. All our members are keen aviation enthusiasts, and several have built or are now building their own aircraft.
Where and when we meet...
Our meetings are held at the BAWA conference facility on Southmead Road in Bristol, and we meet on the second Thursday of each month at 19:30 hrs. Anyone wishing to join us would be most welcome to drop in, just click on this LINK for directions:
What we do...
From time to time we invite Guest speakers along to our meetings. Over the past year we have enjoyed presentations from:

In September we invited NATS Bristol along to talk about the new airspace. In between these talks, we held ‘members evenings’ where discussions took place about all things aeronautical, with the occasional slide show, and of course the Wing act as host for the occasional CAA Safety Evening to which all local pilots are invited.
Outside events this year included a trip in June to Nympsfield, where the Gliding Club gave us rides in their gliders, and in July we went to Kemble airfield for a look around the magnificent Bristol Aero Collection.
An interesting program of events for the coming year has already been proposed, and we are always open to suggestions for interesting speakers.
